Husband and I hanging out

Husband and I hanging out

No, not really, but I wouldn’t mind their clothes or sitting for a Gainsborough portrait.

      1. I cannot remember the title, but it was a portrait of a child. It is believed to be of a girl, but because of dress styles at the time there is a good possibility that it is a boy. The sitter’s name has been lost to time, so it is a mystery! It was amazing. My fave of the day, though, other than those in the Bellows exhibit we went there to see, was a large-scale Artemisia Gentileschi. It was stunning!

      2. Wow, I can only imagine. I wonder what her life was like. So incredibly talented. I love her Madonna and Child. Some of those are really creepy. Not hers.

George is great! I love his people, his moods and his landscapes. I love his painting Summer Fantasy.
